• Healing Salve Giveaway {CLOSED}

    by  • April 11, 2012 • Giveaway

    Whoo hoo for another GIVEAWAY!!! Since we just finished talking about cleaning out our medicine cabinets, I thought it would be fun to start two of you lovely readers off with a set of multi-purpose herbal salve!

    Two wonderful readers will win a FULL-size “green bandage” herbal healing salve and a TRAVEL-size “green bandage” herbal healing salve! Need a reason why you should add this to your natural medicine cabinet? Here is more information about it from my Etsy shop…

    an all natural, homemade, multi-purpose healing salve that is…well, very multi-purposed!
    this healing salve is so fabulous, you’ll never want to be without it!

    so, what make this salve so great? well, let me tell you!

    have you ever had a giant cut, burn, bug bite, skinned knee, candida infection? or how about a cold sore, poison ivy, cracked and painful lips, ringworm? oh…or eczema, skin rash, hang nail, diaper rash, pimple, or anything else that would require an anti-bacterial/fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-itch ointment? I thought so…this salve does. it. all!

    what is in it? I’m glad you asked!

    when I set out to make this salve I wanted to make sure that it would be a quality product that worked well. and not only worked well but didn’t sting or burn, was safe for children and those with sensitive skin, and not too greasy or goopy or smelly…it had to be “just right”.
    and this is what I came up with: an herbal blend of comfrey, plantain, st johns wort, calendula, yarrow, echinacea, rosemary, and myrrh infused in extra virgin olive oil then mixed with beeswax, essential oils and vitamin e. ta-da! i package the salve in a quality, aluminum-free, tin (lid screws on, so…no top-less tin). no chemicals, no artificial anything, no parabens, no mineral oil, nothing!

    want to know more about the herbs? well, okay!

    tissue knitting herbs – comfrey, plantain
    reduces pain herbs – plantain, lavender, st johns wort, comfrey
    reduces inflammation herbs – rosemary, lavender
